Puducherry Class 12 Exam Cancelled: Puducherry government on Monday decided to cancel the Puducherry class 12 board examination. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the covid-19 pandemic. The decision to cancel the Puducherry class 12 board examination was taken after Prime Minister Modi on June 1 announced the cancellation of the CBSE class 12 board exam.
However, no official announcement has been made regarding the evaluation of the Puducherry class 12 students.
Earlier, on June 1, the CBSE board decided to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination owing to the surge in the covid-19 cases across the country. The decision came after the high-level review meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the class 12 board examination was held on Tuesday evening. PM Modi directed the board officials to come up with the objection criterion to prepare the results of the CBSE class 12 students in a “fair and time-bound manner.”
After the meeting, PM Modi on his official Twitter handle wrote, “Government of India has decided to cancel the Class 12 CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth.”
Note: Students are advised to keep visiting the official website of the Puducherry Board regularly for the latest updates regarding the board examinations.
